Sparking Hope, Igniting Change
Freedom Jones | Video Treatment
Proposed Ad Council video treatment
Creative Approach | Overview
Freedom Jones is a vital and powerful leader in community violence prevention & intervention.
This video is our opportunity to convey that power, and the breadth of her impact.
Creative Approach
To do this, we will utilize a combination of previously captured interview clips, footage of Freedom in and around her community in Baltimore, and her rousing on-stage speech from the 2025 Ad Council dinner.
This footage, anchored by the power of Freedom’s own voice and words will showcase Freedom as both a galvanizing national thought-leader and speaker, and a compassionate front-line worker on the ground.
New Material | The Work Continues
To round out this story, we would love for Freedom to record herself speaking more about her recent work to educate and mobilize digital responders to detect and disrupt violent content online—building safer digital ecosystems that reflect the same care and love she has brought to her community work on the ground.
We believe this new material can help paint a more holistic picture of both the amazing strides that Freedom has already made while providing a powerful reminder that there is still more to be done.
